On the last Saturday of each month, Mokena Fellowship Center hosts an open AA meeting catered to newcomers beginning their journey in AA.
Open meetings are open to anyone interested in learning more about the program or to anyone supporting a person who is in AA. There are no requirements for open meetings of Alcoholics Anonymous
We encourage anyone to take advantage of this great meeting.
In contrast to this open meeting, closed meetings of Alcoholics Anonymous are available to those who already admit they have a problem with alcohol and would like to stop drinking. There are no dues, fees, or requirements for membership in Alcoholics Anonymous. Due to the singleness of purpose of Alcoholics Anonymous, there is a distinction between open and closed meetings.
