Each March the Board of Directors invite all active members of Mokena Fellowship Center who have 5 years of sobriety—and a desire to serve our Fellowship—to put themselves forward as Board candidates. Candidates must be willing to place principles before personalities, and allow a group conscience to settle disputes as they carry out the duties of the Board.
These new Board members help ensure that the Fellowship will not only survive, but thrive for years to come—a beacon of hope to those who suffer.
To become a candidate this March, download a copy of the Board Questionnaire, complete it, and either deposit it in the safe at the Fellowship or email it prior to the first week of March.

A Board member's term of service is three (3) years, and members must have five (5) years of sobriety. The Board is comprised of a Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, and three Directors, one of whom serves as the Chairperson of the Steering Committee.
Each year, two members roll out of service, and two new members roll in. All members have voting rights.
The Board of Directors is the caretaker of The Mokena Fellowship Center, a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation. It is responsible for the financial, disciplinary, legal, and contractual actions, as well as State and Federal Reporting.
