Each March the Board of Directors invite all active members of Mokena Fellowship Center who have 5 years of sobriety and a desire to serve our Fellowship, to put themselves forward as candidates. These members must be willing to place our principles before personalities, and allow a group conscience to settle all disputes as you perform the duties of the Board. These new Board members will be ensuring that this amazing Fellowship will not just survive, but thrive for years to come. A beacon of hope to those who suffer.
Download a copy of the Board Questionnaire, complete the document and deposit it in the safe at the Fellowship or email it to admin@aamokenfellowship.org to be a candidate for the Board this March.
A Board member's term of service is 3 years and members are required to have 5 years of sobriety. The Board is comprised of a Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, and three Directors, one being the Chairperson of the Steering Committee. Each year, two members roll out of service and two new members roll in to service. All members have voting rights.
The Board of Directors are the caretakers of The Mokena Fellowship Center, a 501(c)3 non profit corporation. They are responsible for the financial, disciplinary, legal and contractual actions as well as the State and Federal Reporting.
