The black cabinet in the small lounge/storage area (southwest corner), just outside the women’s restroom, contains shared household supplies for Fellowship use.
If you notice we’re running low on a needed item, please restock it from the cabinet inventory. You’ll find extra paper products, including toilet paper, hand towels, paper towels, and tissues, to help replenish supplies as needed.
When you see we’re low, now you know where to go.
When the cabinet itself is low, contact our Supplies Chair.
Please remember: these supplies are for Fellowship use only, not for personal use.
Meetings that use literature or other materials not provided by the Mokena Fellowship Center may request a locker to store items such as books, phone lists, business meeting notes, group conscience decisions, and other meeting materials.
To request a locker for your meeting, text the Keys Chair.

If you are writing an announcement on the white board ask yourself, is this an AA/Al-Anon/Alateen/CoDA event? Is it rooted in AA and the 12 steps? Is it an MFC Fellowship event? Is it sharing vital AA community information, like the passing of a member? All of these are appropriate announcements to post at the club. Please put ONLY Mokena Fellowship announcements on the white board. Please post any community flyers for events/meetings happening outside the Fellowship on the pin board (on the west wall of windows upstairs/ to the right of the coffee pot).
If the information is another program of recovery, not AA/Al-Anon/Alateen/CoDA, it does not belong at the Fellowship. Religious materials/booklets, announcements of religious ceremonies (aside from the funeral of members) also do not belong at the Fellowship. Our AA Preamble clearly states: "A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes." Items that do not follow these guidelines will be removed and we will dispose of them. If you disagree with this guideline, please bring your concerns to the next Steering Committee Meeting where they can be voiced.

All Chair People need to attend a training meeting. This is a mandatory meeting to inform you of your responsibilities and what to do in case of an emergency.
Chair People are the back bone of MFC and without you there would be no meetings.
To receive training, please contact Call Steve Kr 815-999-2287
We are so grateful to each and everyone one of you for your service work. Keep coming back!
